SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (November 15, 2007) - The busy physician readers of Diversion magazine have chosen Princess Cruises as the "Best Cruise Line" in their first ever Reader's Choice Awards.

Asked to provide their opinions on a variety of vacation topics, the physician readers of Diversion enthusiastically responded to the magazine's first comprehensive travel poll, with nearly 500 doctors expressing their views.

Coincidentally, Princess offers travel to all of the poll respondents' dream destinations. When asked "if I could go anywhere in the world," doctors overwhelmingly responded with Australia and New Zealand - one of the line's popular itineraries. Other choices were Italy, China, Paris, Hawaii and Antarctica - all destinations served by Princess' worldwide fleet.

"Cruisers I've talked to have mentioned the excellent service and organization provided by Princess Cruises," said Cathy Cavender, editor-in-chief of Diversion magazine. "I think this was reflected in the high marks the line received from Diversion's readers. Also, Princess has a strong presence in Alaska, which is a popular destination."

Princess received an additional round of awards from Porthole Cruise Magazine, which has released the results of its annual Readers' Choice Awards. Princess took the highest honors in five categories: Best Mexican Riviera Itineraries, Best Central America Itineraries, Best Northern Europe Itineraries, Best Asia Itineraries and Best Computer Facilities. The awards represent the third year in a row that Princess took top honors in the Best Asia Itineraries category, and is the fourth time the line was recognized for Best Northern Europe Itineraries by Porthole readers.

"Princess Cruises is clearly a leader in the cruise industry and boasts fascinating itineraries," said Bill Panoff, publisher and editor-in-chief of Porthole Cruise Magazine. "Our readers obviously agree, and I congratulate the line on all of its wins."

"We're delighted to be recognized by both of these notable lifestyle publications," said Jan Swartz, Princess' senior vice president of customer service. "Being chosen as the favorite cruise line of the well-traveled medical professionals that read Diversion is high praise indeed, as this discerning audience certainly has a wide range of vacation options. And the frequent cruisers that make up Porthole's readership are well-versed about world travel, so we're especially pleased to once again be recognized for our wide range of global itineraries."
